Baystate Health/Health New England team members and their families gathered on Saturday, August 31 to march in the annual Stone Soul Parade. Our contingent wore matching BH/HNE branded shirts, designed by family member of an HNE employee. They were accompanied by a decorated truck and balloons, DJ, the Baystate Wellness on Wheels Bus, and fun giveaways for the parade spectators.
We were warmly welcomed by parade watchers. Following the parade BH and HNE employee volunteers staffed our booth at the health fair. WoW Bus clinical employee volunteers were also present at the health fair offering health education and blood pressure screenings. All were kept busy throughout the day’s festivities, providing giveaways and useful information about healthcare, job opportunities and the new Baystate Community Health & Wellness Center - Springfield.
